A story… that could happen to you!

Monday morning, Ben, one of Distribution’s drivers is stuck on the side of the road. His day cab tractor has a major engine failure. Ben calls his dispatcher to give him the news. He is worried that he will not be able to service all the customers he had planned for the day and asks his supervisor to give a heads up to the customers.
Moments later, the truck is towed to the shop. As for Ben, he gets a lift to Brossard Leasing’s facility to pick up a short term rentaltractor. He goes back to get his trailer and continues on his way. Unfortunately, his day will be longer than planned.

In the meantime, Ben’s tractor is being assessed at the shop. The prognosis is not good. The engine needs a complete rebuild and the warranty has been expired for a few years, the distribution management will need to make a decision. Do they go ahead and do the $ 40,000 rebuild? On a tractor that is worth less than that?

During the week, Ben stopped by to see his boss and get some news concerning his tractor. The situation was explained to Ben and he immediately responded « Why don’t we full-service lease a truck from Brossard Leasing? When I went on Monday, they explained to me that they have recent vehicles ready to go on very flexible terms according to our needs. On top of it, maintenance and repairs are included! » They are definitely going to consider this option.

Finally, after discussing with a Lease Consultant
form Brossard, the decision is taken. Ben is going to roll with a gleaming Freightliner 2020 model year ON A 12 MONTH LEASE! Distribution management decided that they needed to take a short engagement during the pandemic and keep their options open as they see how things will work out.

This way, Ben gets a recent truck, identified and to the image of to the company on a contract that requires NO CASH DOWN.
